About Me:
I don't want to start off with a sob story but I thought that by going a little deeper into my life can help people understand me a little more. This year so far has been a rough one for me, I went away to school only to find out that that particular school wasn't the place for me. People who I thought were true friends have come and gone and this has tought me so much about myself. I may not be totally where I want to be in life but I'm getting there. But I'm moving past this to bigger and better things. I run what I consider a successful blog Flashing Lights http://www.flashinglights.typepad.com which covers celebrity gossip, entertainment news, politics and fashion. My main focus on my blog is showcasing my ability to put together outfits so if you want to see my skills check out StyleDrobe on my blog for more info. I also run an online clothing store I Love The 80's http://ILoveThe80s.spreadshirt.com where I sell everything from t-shirts, hoodies, and totes. My clothes cater to my love for music and skateboarding (even though I can't skateboard I am fascinated with it). I am also in the process of creating a magazine so be on the lookout for that as well. In a few weeks I will be doing my interview at LIM in NYC that will determine whether I get into the school or not. I am thinking positive and speaking into existence that I am accepted into the school already. I will be majoring in Fashion Merchandising. I am a very ambitious person and I want to do alot career wise. I want to own a boutique, create an affordable high fashion clothing and accessory line, design sneakers, have my own tv show, own an upscale club and maybe even start a modeling agency. Ten years from now I want to be successful enough to retire, get married have one child and maybe adopt other children. I would also love to meet Mary J. Blige because she is one woman who has overcame so many triumphs in her life, didn't let it destroy her and came out a better person. I admire that about her. My life motto is, "Your destiny is accompanied by a myriad of difficulties-Paula White." This is such a true statement and I have been witnessing it alot lately. But my personal belief is when one door closes; God opens another one that is right for you.
